college ministry

we love college students. in fact, our church has been built on college students. if you take a look at our history, you will see that for 8 years the ring was the college ministry of parkview baptist church. when we launched out as a church, one of our commitments was to always stay true to our roots by continuing to invest in the lives of the students God brings our way.

:: what do we offer college students? ::

college community group - we strive to be relationally driven in all aspects of life. whether that's pushing each other more deeply with Christ, or going beyond surface level friendships with your buddies, we believe that God designed us for relationships. and in college, it's crucial to be surrounded by those who are on the same journey. each monday night the staff of the ring leads a discussion-based Bible study for our college students, where they can learn and grow and share life with each other. this community group is open to all college students, and you can sign up by emailing staff@ringcommunity.org or just showing up. once the location for the fall semester is determined, we will post that info here.

'regular' community groups - while peer interaction is incredibly important, we also desire to see our college students integrate into the full life of the church. so we don't want to limit our students to only being in the college community group if they desire to have adults more involved in their lives. by everyone being involved in community groups, our college students get to know our adults, and vice versa. this helps us accomplish what we believe is one of the missions of the church... making disciples as we all learn from each other. check out the community group page for more information.

random events just for you - throughout the year we have gatherings just for college students, like tailgate parties, college conferences, and an end of school beach trip. check out the calendar to see what's coming soon so that you can plan ahead.

summer missions - there are countless opportunities out there for college students to be involved in ministry over the summer. from international missions opportunities to summer camp staff, we can get you where you feel led to go. check out our missions page for more information.
