favorite memory of the ring and favorite memory of one of the other elders or staff members:
one of my favorite memories: a night back when the ring was yet not a church in the way it is now. josh had walked down from the stage, and people began praying for him. reaux took the mic and started going through the book of acts. then the prayer just grew more and more and my awareness of the Lord's presence was intense. reaux grabbing that mic and speaking those words - one of my favorite elder memories...
moment/how you knew God was calling you to be a part of the ring:
short of writing a book about that... a summation will have to do... from my first night at the ring there has always been a sense of people changing from the inside through their relationship with God in Christ, and that in partial, working itself out in and through their relationships with each other. so much grace expressed through so many different people...what a wonderful foundation woven by God to have a local group of people become a church from. for me personally having not come from a community in that sense, God was clear that my continuing in following Jesus requires such a community.
